Position Responsibilities
• Lead engineering, technical, project management and administrative direction on projects.
• Develop, verify, and finalize technical reporting and deliverables.
• Lead project teams, manage resource loading, employee training and professional development initiatives.
• Oversee and develop budgets, cost estimates, and manage project financial considerations.
• Conduct research, reviews, inspections, and technical investigations.
• Prepare proposals and actively participate in engagement with clients, government organizations, the public and suppliers.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated technical skills in civil engineering design and contract administration, underscored by relevant qualifications; a degree in Civil Engineering and registration as a Professional Engineer with P.E.O. A minimum of 10+ years’ experience in the field is expected, coupled with an understanding of pertinent codes, legislation, regulations and design software.

This position is classified as full time. Rate of pay will be commensurate with related experience and qualifications. Working with our Mechanical Engineering division, the successful candidate will assist with on-going mechanical design projects, specializing in HVAC and plumbing solutions for commercial and institutional settings.

 

Position Responsibilities

Join our growing accounting and administration team at TBT Engineering as our Bookkeeper! You’ll be at the forefront of preparing, calculating, and processing vital financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, while providing invaluable support for general accounting tasks.

Position Description

  • Executing payment processing functions.
  • Preparing financial records.
  • General accounting functions: timesheets and expenses review, accounts payable tracking, and accounts receivable preparation.
  • Preparing reports and documentation.
  • Reviewing status of projects to ensure that all accounting information has been collected.

Qualifications

We’re seeking individuals with a proven track record and 5 or more years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Sage 50 accounting software and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite. A post-secondary education in accounting, bookkeeping or comparable course would be an asset.

This position is classified as full-time and offers competitive compensation ($54,000.00 – $72,000.00) tailored to your experience and skills, along with comprehensive benefit package including health and dental coverage, robust paid time off, group retirement savings plans, wellness incentives, and provisions for workwear and clothing allowances.
